We moved 9 times in 5 years. So, one of the gifts of staying put for the last 12 years is we’ve had the same postman. Here are 3 cool things about our neighborhood postman: 1. He knows many of the families in our neighborhood. And our dogs and their names. Knowing names and families are all occupational hazards in his business. 2. I love that he stops for moment to chit chat. Or, shares that his wife is also originally Canadian upon seeing all of my post from home. 3. He’s super positive. Even his note about our over stuffed mailbox is positive. I like that he gets us and we are working together on the mail management. 😌 Our postman, Vince, is retiring this year. His retirement reminded me to notice all the people woven into our lives.
